Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the mobile game Arrowsy collects, why, and what choices you have. Arrowsy is published by Cellplay Studio (“we”, “us”).

In short: Arrowsy has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your name, progress and coins stay on your device. The only personal identifier that leaves your phone is an advertising identifier used to show ads, plus purchase records handled by Google Play.

Information we collect

Advertising identifier

Arrowsy shows ads using Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob accesses your device’s Advertising ID — a resettable identifier Google provides for advertising purposes. It is used to select ads, limit how often the same ad is shown, and measure whether ads worked.

This identifier is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We never receive it, and we cannot link it to you.

Purchases

If you buy anything in Arrowsy, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card details, billing address or any payment information.

To confirm a purchase is genuine and to restore it if you reinstall the game, we use RevenueCat, a purchase-verification service. RevenueCat receives the identifier of the product you bought, a purchase receipt from Google, and an anonymous identifier for your installation. It does not receive your name, email address or payment details.

Stored only on your device

The following never leaves your phone. We cannot see it, and it is deleted if you uninstall the game:

What we do not collect

Arrowsy does not access, collect or transmit any of the following:

The game contains no analytics service, no crash-reporting service, no social login and no chat. It makes no network requests of its own.

Age and children

Arrowsy is suitable for a general audience, including children. The first time you open the game it asks for your age.

We do not store the age you enter. It is used once, immediately, to work out which of three broad categories you fall into, and only that category is saved on your device. The number itself is discarded and never transmitted anywhere.

Where the player is a child, Arrowsy instructs Google AdMob to treat the request as child-directed. This disables personalised advertising and restricts use of the advertising identifier for that player. Ads are also limited to content rated suitable for general audiences.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the address below and we will act on it.

Why we are allowed to do this

Where the law requires us to name a legal basis for processing:

We do not rely on legitimate interests, and we do not build a profile of you.

Consent and your choices

Ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Arrowsy asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, using Google’s consent tool. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the game.

Advertising ID. You can reset your Advertising ID, or ask Android to stop apps using it for personalised advertising, in your phone’s Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Removing ads. Buying the “Unlock Everything” item removes ads from the game.

Deleting your data. Because everything we hold is stored on your device, uninstalling Arrowsy deletes it. You can also clear it at any time from your phone’s app settings without uninstalling.

Your rights

Because Arrowsy keeps nothing about you on any server of ours, most rights are exercised directly on your device: uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, erases everything we could ever have held.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what is collected about you, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of targeted advertising and of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights. To opt out, open Settings → Privacy options inside the game.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

To exercise a right, write to us at the address below. Because Arrowsy has no accounts, we may be unable to identify any data as yours; where a right concerns data held by Google or RevenueCat, we will point you to them.

Third-party services

These services process data as described above. Their own policies govern what they do with it:

Where your data is processed

Google and RevenueCat are based in the United States and process data there and in other countries. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, those transfers rely on the safeguards those companies have put in place, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The detail is in their own policies, linked above.

Data retention

We hold no personal data ourselves, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on request. Data held by Google and RevenueCat is kept according to their own retention policies, linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address and the date at the top will be updated. Significant changes affecting what we collect will also be announced in the game.
